Control and manage your computer from anywhere, need internet
You want to delete a file in your computer when you are not at home and on your computer, but in your work office?
It's now simple that there is a website that lets you to do this thing, even more from anywhere. Internet access is required.
With a program called GoToMyPC, you can controls your computer from anywhere when you not on your computer. It's very simple. You just need to download and install this software program on your computer. Pick a username and password. You are done. From another computer, you can go to this site: http://www.gotomypc.com/ and connect to your computer.
In about 1 min, a window will popup with your home computer screen. If you make it full-screen, you will feel it just like you are at home on your computer.
You can run any programs on your computer, read files, documents. This program is very helpful when you forgot somethings at home on your computer. You will need a high internet connection like Modem, T1, ..., or it will be laggy sometimes. The one computer at your home, only need Dial-up connection, works fine.
Current, GoToMyPc only runs on Windows, but it will be soon updated and can runs on Macintosh, Linux or any operate systems. If you want to uses it on Mac, you will have to pay some fees. But don't worry, GoToMyPc is still under development and it is free.
