I wonder if do you allow your kids to take alcoholic drinks during Christmas?.Here in our place our parents allow those kids or underage member of the family to partake almost anything during Christmas since it happens only once a year. I wonder if your parents also allows you to drink alcoholic drinks like wine during Christmas?.

This is something we've picked up from the french, during mealtimes it's not uncommon for children to be allowed a glass of wine with their evening meal, when I was younger my parents didn't let me near acholol, but my aunt let me try a few sips of wine which was revolting anyway, I still don't like the stuff, probably the only achololic drink I do like is plum wine or cider.
I never drink anyways, you can still have a blast without it

I don't support drinking just because it's Christmas. If I had kids, I would not let them drink until they were the legal age, as is the responsible thing to do.

I agree, if I had kids I wouldn't let them near alchohol until the legal age (18 here) even then I would encourage them to drink respinsibly if at all.

My children are under 5 and it is illegal for them to drink alcohol. However, once they are old enough I want them to be able to try alcohol and drink it at home in moderation. I do not want them to think of it as taboo and then hopefully they won't feel that they have to start binge drinking or getting drunk when they are teenagers. _________________ http://www.turnonepoundintoonemillion.com

An alcoholic beverage is a drink containing ethanol, commonly known as alcohol, although in chemistry the definition of alcohol includes many other compounds. Alcoholic beverages are divided into three general classes: beers, wines, and spirits.

I think there shouldn't be allowing kids to do so unless they're already like 15 and above. Otherwise, its a form of bad influence since the child might start bragging it to their mates and drinks slyly during regular days.
