When I was in high school, I just hate it when people started to call you by names. I think it’s a very childish thing to do and usually I will stay away from these people.

No, I don't hate it when people call me by nicknames, as long as those are not bad nicknames.
When you are older, they will stop call you by nicknames.

I don't think there is something in to hate about or get annoyed if people call you in your nicknames.Everyone of us have nicknames and we are all known to others well in this name because we are hardly called by our original or family names by our friends and others..so i just don't see any bad in it unless a bad nickname is used for calling.

Sometimes... I depends how good in ear your names is....

I got my nickname before just because of my bestfriend. She always call me in this name.

They give me a funny nickname, In English, it means "pee in my pant".
They tell each other, when I was little I peed in my pant many times in school.
And I was embracing when the girls start to ask what does my nickname means.

They still call me by that nickname but I'm old and I pee on the wall now.
