Gmail slow file attachment - how to make it faster?
Hi, can anyone help me?
I'm using Gmail.com
I want to attach a file in Gmail and send it to a friend, but the attachment speed is so slow. How to increase the attachment speed?
ctdcghsn_kdbt@yahoo.com
thanks!

It is slow because you attach file that has big size, what else can you do to increase the file attachment speed? try to attach files using other email services like Yahoo and see if it is faster?
And what type of internet connection you are using?

if the file is very important to send and if its big enough then it would better not to use any email services at all rather i would suggest u to upload the file in any free hosting site and give ur friend its link and ask him to download it if he really has an emergency, its very simple, try it please.

I would agree, upload it to a free filehosting site but make sure you add a password to it if you dont want any old person being able to get the file, make sure you note the password and url down and pass it on to your friend. Not the password to your account obviously, but on some file sharing sites you can add apassword to protect certain files.
There's no way you can make gmail any faster, something youll just have to put up with unless you use the above option.
