Each time when I go to forums, there are bound to be threads mentioning that someone just got scammed. If this happens is there any way we could report the issue and is there any governing international laws to catch them? _________________ All About Aquarium Fish

You can report to the Forum Administrator, give some proofs and get him banned.
Police no interested in these sort of cases
Contact your local Television station. They go after people like this.
Contact your Bank, Paypal, E-Gold, ... These guys will help you, their job.
They know it better and they work with international laws to catch bad guys all over the world.
Important: Be smart and protect yourself from scams,
You can't catch these bad people, If you just sent a check to no where, work for no one (aka)
I myself got scammed before, it is only $20 but give me some bad headaches

There are laws against scamming, it would come under fraud or theft and for the larger ammounts it should be reported to the authorities, just be sure you have enough evidence to present to them. _________________ www.whoistrace.com | whois lookup service

Actually there's nothing much you can do. You can of course report that to the forum administrator and it's up to them to take actions to ban them. Therefore, it is important to check the background of the person we are doing business with to prevent scams from happening.
