Hi, I'm having a problem
I bought an Emachine computer in the last 2 years, the power supply burned and it destroyed the mother board a few hours later. I got them replaced for $175. I then tried to reinstall the window, reinstall everythings (using the Emachine System Recorvery DVD) but then when it is done, Microsoft ask me to activate the window by enter the product keys or contact them, which they didn't ask me that before or never happened.
I entered the product keys that I found on the label in the back of the CPU, --> this doesn't work. I called Microsoft to activate the window, a lady answered me, she made me tell the product numbers of the window quick, she then tell me "Microsoft doesn't support Emachine" which I'm using, We stopped there and that is still the problem that I'm having.
I thinks she was too busy.
So guys, Is this because of the new mother board I replaced? that why I have to activate the window before I can use it?
I start to don't like Emachine, many people have problems with Emachine, they thinks Emachine buys cheap hardwares and put them in together.
The DVD ROM used to be read CD and DVD both, now it can read DVD only and I don't know why. I can't make things works without it reading the CD and it contain necessary "drivers, audio driver, ..." _________________ SmartAliens
