It depends, it depends on how old and how mature is a kid. Also he is going to know it eitherway some day so why to tell them its a fun to go through all this.

Me too!I wouldn't tell the kid about this and let him find out for himself.Santa and the concept of gifts is too thrilling for the child and in a way it is informative too.

I decided that I wouldn't tell my children anything - they will learn from TV, friends and family and if they ask me any questions I will try to answer in a way which does not indicate whether he is or is not real. Therefore I will not be lying to them but also not spoiling things either. I am not sure what to do about teh tooth fairy though.... _________________ http://www.turnonepoundintoonemillion.com
