Can your domain names be stolen?
You found a very valuable, cool domain name and it is very much available. You have no times to register it, so you come back to it a couple of days later, you checked it again and your name is already taken.
Type the domain name in the address bar and it brings you to a page where you can purchase it for $34.99.
Many companies are out there spying and stealing your domain research, so do not type the domain name in the wrong place may allow company to registers the domain before you.
- Do not type your domain name in the address bar (address bar guessing)
- Avoid browser plug-ins that send data back to the Internet
- Type your domain name in major search engines only (Google, Yahoo, ...)
- Register your domain name with big name companies only. (Godaddy.com, register.com, ...)
- Be careful with some Whois look up, domain availability checker sites
