Im for the uk and im just wondering if anyone else from uk or even any one from else where sees our government a shamble and embarrsing?
We have all these policies and what not to help everyone coming into our country and us british people are geting left in the dark! All that our country is doing is making it better for everyone else that aint british, they are even having to make a 'british holiday' to make britain feel more british thats just wrong i think, we should feel like were british without needing to make special holidays or other things.
Also we used to celebrate loads of holidays but now we celebrate them all under strick rules because we "may offend" someone that doesnt believe in what the holiday stands for. Christmas is the biggest example i think, we are having to ban plays being done at schools about the christmas story because of some children cant take part due to not believing in it, christmas card are being stopped being sent round schools and work places because they may offend someone, i think we going to start calling christmas "WINTER HOLIDAY" now WTF is that all about!! All holidays will slowly grind to a holt i think in the uk and we will not be celebrating anything publicly, its a utter disgrace!
Well with that lil rant out of the way what do people think of britain?

That would be a weird holiday I think,
but it is good to celebrates your British, their family values and if that make you feel more British, there is nothing wrong with it. More holidays is good.

Not really with the Iraq and Afgan Wars. But with sending loads of money to poorer countries (not meaning to sound nasty or anything) i find it pointless, the fact that we as a counrty like every other country cant stop starvation, homeless, abuse and everything else in our own country then how on earth are we going to do it in another counrty. We spend billions on helping others with problems that we as a country have ourselfs.
But what i was really meaning with "All that our country is doing is making it better for everyone else that aint british" is that all the migrant workers and illigal imigrants that come over get a house, car, and spending money to make sure they can make it in the UK, as the british who are living here already are forking out to pay for them and struggling to get a house and a car, Im 20 and i cant move out yet into my own place cause its just too expensive and we dont get any "free" money to help but now a small loan and then a morgage then were payin back loads and not having alot to buy anything else with food and what not, and with our bills for gas and electric and just about all taxs going through the roof everyone is suffering.
