I'm using Wordpress platform to create my blog and I always get bunch of unrelated comments mostly spams. Is there any good plugins that we can install to overcome this problem?

Are you allowed Guests to post comments?
These people posts for backlinks (links to their sites). You can disabled links or add nofollow to all external links, they will stay away from your blog.

May be, they are not human, they are spam bots. You can add a CAPTCHA or Image Verification, ex: 1 + 1 =?, if they not enter a right answer, they can't post comments.
